Just had another lovely email from Joseph! Lots of news to tell. Many thanks to him for keeping us updated.
He is recording the role of Raoul, on days off from Glyndebourne rehearsals, for the concept album of the new sequel to Phantom Of The Opera. Its called Love Never Dies at present. He has no idea if he will be in the stage version or not. They are keeping it very close to their chest. He says "the music is gorgeous and I am trying not to ruin it"
He will head off to West Wales as soon as The Fairy Queen opens to play the lead role of Sean in a new thriller/horror film by Christopher Nurse (the fella who was set to direct Nocturne) called Devils Bridge.
He will return to the stage in September at The Almeida in Judgement Day. He has the lead role. Rehearsals start in July.
According to this press release from Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre, Joseph recorded some lines which were part of last year's production of The Tempest.
