The Radio 3 play which Joseph recorded this week will broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 3rd February according to the BBC Press Office

A new play by Craig Warner which is inspired by Puccini's Tosca and set under a more modern, but still violently oppressive regime - where men and women have fought to resist the domination of a malign government. Baron Scarpia's languid musings on the nature of power, and on his love for the opera singer Tosca, give way to a cat-and-mouse game in which the stakes are all or nothing. But inspired to fight for her lover Cavaradossi, Tosca's arsenal holds weapons against which Scarpia has no defence.

With Stephen Dillane as Scarpia, Kate Fleetwood as Tosca, Joseph Millson as Cavardossi and Samuel Barnett as Rospo.

Producer/ Jeremy Mortimer for the BBC
