JOSEPH MILLSON as OSCAR PRESCOTT In recent years Jospeh has played roles in The Last Kingdom, Banished and 24. You may also recognise him as a regular for many years in Holby City. Joseph plays Oscar Prescott, l’infant terrible of the crime writing world, and creator of ‘Charlie Palmer’, the titular 60s detective in his action/mystery series.

Queens of Mystery: new guest role being filmed

Joseph Millson has been spending time in Kent this week, at Lympne Castle, filming a guest role in a brand new series for Acorn TV: Queens of Mystery. More information about the series is available on Deadline

Acorn TV is continuing its move into original drama with female detective series Queens of Mystery.

The SVOD service has ordered the six-part series from British production company Sly Fox Productions in association with Ferncroft Media.. Queens of Mystery was created by New Tricks and Doc Martin writer Julian Unthank and will air in the U.S. and in English-speaking territories via Acorn TV as three feature-length episodes as well as six 45 minute episodes.
