Joseph Millson chats Banished, The Last Kingdom and Apologia

A new interview with Joseph for the Radio Times has been shared. Joseph is mainly promoting his new play Apologia in the interview, which opened at the Trafalgar Studios in London at the weekend, to a great reception. He does however, also reveal his thoughts on the cancellation of Banished, and his role in The Last Kingdom. Read the interview in full on the Radio Times website.

Fans of BBC period drama Banished were left scratching their heads when the drama was cancelled after only one series. Now actor Joseph Millson, who played Major Robert Ross in the BBC2 drama, has said he thinks he knows why – and it could be to do with Poldark.

A brief new interview with Joseph, discussing his upcoming character in BBC Radio 4's adaptation of Henry James' The Portrait Of A Lady, has been shared on the Radio 4 website. If you click the link, you can hear it from about 19 minutes, along with recorded scenes from the drama.

The Portrait Of A Lady will be broadcast weekly as three episodes, starting on Sunday 30th July from 3pm. The website for the adaptation has a clip of Joseph as Osmond and a new photo of him!
