The BBC Press Office has shared the broadcast date for Banished - which begins on Thursday 5th March, at a time to be confirmed. 

New South Wales, 1788. Dawn is breaking over a ramshackle camp where the British convicts transported on the First Fleet are waking up to another sweltering hot day alongside their Royal Navy marine guards and their masters. In this fledgling penal colony anything can happen - and death stalks everybody.

The Dead 2: picked up by Altitude for UK release

Screen Daily is reporting that The Dead 2 India has been picked up for UK distribution by Altitude Films.

Ford Brothers’ horror sequel sells to distributor in the UK.

Altitude has acquired UK rights for The Dead 2 from Jinga Films. The Ford Brothers’ horror sequel has also sold to Programstore for France, Shooting Stars for Middle East, Sinema for Turkey and Rafaella for the Philippines.

Starring Joseph Millson, The Dead 2 follows an American engineer working in rural India who has to save his pregnant girlfriend when a zombie epidemic spreads chaos across the country.

The film was released in the US through Anchor Bay last year.

In fact, dementia has made him confused, and forgetful of people and his past. Rebecca misses her Dad. She longs to talk to him, and to ask him questions. But what if she could have him back? Just the way he always was? Has she remembered him right?
