New stills and screenshots from The Dead 2 India have been shared on several blogs and websites in the last couple of days, including Yell Magazine. The DVD and Blu-ray will be released in the US on 16th September.

Several online sources are reporting that the region 1 DVD and Blu-ray release date for The Dead 2 India, will be 18 September 2014.

Setting a new standard for the zombie film, the Ford Brothers have now raised the survival stakes to new dramatic heights with the September 16th Blu-ray and DVD release of The Dead 2.

Genre outfit adds zombies, werewolves and supernatural features to its Cannes slate. Jinga Films has added three new titles to its slate ahead of next month’s Cannes Film Festival (May 14-25). 

The Dead II is the sequel to The Ford Brothers debut feature and follows a zombie pandemic as it spreads from Africa to India. Joseph Milson stars as an engineer working in Rajasthan who has to fight his way across 300 miles of ferociously infected countryside to save his pregnant girlfriend. The film received its world premiere at FrightFest and was recently acquired for North America by Anchor Bay, which will release in September.

Great news about The Dead 2 India has been shared by The Hollywood Reporter. The film has been picked up for US distribution by Anchor Bay, and will be released this Autumn.

Anchor Bay Films has picked up The Dead 2: India, Howard J. Ford and Jon Ford’s follow-up to their 2010 zombie horror film The Dead.

The company has acquired the theatrical, home entertainment, digital and VOD rights for the U.S. and Canada.

The first movie, also released by Anchor Bay, was the first horror film entirely filmed in Africa. The new one, as the title suggests, moves one continent over and stars Joseph Millson (Casino Royale).
