ITV announced that Grantchester series 4 begins on Friday 11th January 2019. Joseph Millson makes a guest appearance in an episode of the new series, but we dont yet know which one yet.

Joseph Millson tweeted from the set of Grantchester series 4 today, as he films a guest appearance in episode 6. The successful series, an adaptation of The Grantchester Mysteries, collections of short stories written by James Runcie, is broadcast on ITV and Masterpiece. The Radio Times and Good Housekeeping offer news about series 4.
