Their brilliant project for Latitude will be a script-in-hand performance entitled ‘Punchlines: Five Short Plays About Jokes’. The plays, each eight to ten minutes long and featuring four actors, have all been especially commissioned for Latitude and feature the writing talents of Jack Thorne, Luc y Kirkw ood, Ian McHu gh, Decl an Feenan and Steve Thomps on. The Other Prize by the Marlowe Society in 2002, shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award two years later is named by Broadcast Magazine as one of its Hot Shots for 2006. He has also written episodes for the brand new E4 series, ‘Skins’.

The funny and moving Lucy is something of a rising star in Theatreland and won the PMA Award in 2006, while Ian is a highly regarded and revered playwright and poet and Declan Freenan is a young Irish writer currently on attachment at the National Theatre Studio.
