MAAN reviews

Reviews: Talk To Me & MAAN

I found a couple of reviews today. Firstly from Eye for Film who enjoyed the Talk To Me DVD.

"The cast are all fantastic...Millson is an actor I’m not to familiar with but he does a great job as Woody especially during the scenes where he learns of his wife’s betrayal with his best friend. Each character is well fleshed out and is given time to cement individually there own story arcs. Talk To Me was great viewing, fast-paced, intriguing, funny, and sexy and had me gripped throughout. A welcome surprising change from a group of people to watch out for in the future."

Theatre Reviews updated

Found a couple of theatre reviews on my internet travels. No idea how I managed to miss them.

The Spectator by Patrick Carnegy, on Much Ado September 06

For Much Ado, director Marianne Elliott goes to the pre-Castro Cuba of the 1950s, opening the way for a feast of salsa music, song and dance. But the best music of the evening is simply that of the sparring of Beatrice and Benedick.

Much Ado About Nothing: more London reviews

More reviews from the press night on Wednesday are appearing now online.

A 3 star review from The Times Benedict Nightingale, who thought both the lead actors were excellent but was a little scathing about the rest of the production. I cheered myself up by then reading The Telegraph review by Charles Spencer as well as Alistair Macaulay's.

"The irresistible Joseph Millson is the best Benedick I have ever seen: both hilarious and vulnerable". Alistair Macaulay FT Dec 06.
