Apparently Joseph will be doing a reading next Tuesday 19th January, 2.30pm at the Donmar Warehouse in London. It seems he will be joining Simon Russell-Beale in a reading of The Philanthropist.

19 JANUARY 2016 - 19 JANUARY 2016

To accompany the 30th Anniversary revival of Christopher Hampton’s LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES, and to celebrate the writer’s 70th birthday, we present two readings of Christopher’s previous productions at the Donmar: THE PHILANTHROPIST and TALES FROM HOLLYWOOD. Produced at the Donmar in 2005 and inspired by Moliere's The Misanthrope, THE PHILANTHROPIST is Christopher Hampton’s award-winning comedy depicting 24-hours in the life of Philip, a shy Oxford don. Philip and his young fiancé Celia are throwing a dinner party for six of their academic circle. With political turmoil outside the college walls and sexual intrigue within, Philip discovers that the harder he tries to please, the deeper the trouble he causes.

Simon Russell Beale reprises his Evening Standard award-winning performance as Philip.

Directed by David Grindley.
